CONAC-type high pressure device
The device is intended for the generation of high pressure and high temperature and can be used for manufacturing synthetic diamond and cBN powders, and for growing large single crystals as well as for research and experiment in the field of solid state physics under high pressure.
The pressure generating mechanism is based on the compression and confinement of a solid medium between special working surfaces of a pair of opposed-anvil type dies. Geometrical parameters of the dies make allowance for the strength characteristics of the material of a container. The device features increased durability of dies and increased useful volume.
